It automatically renames all product image names (small, medium and large) for SEO, and so increases keyword density on the web pages. When a Search Engine crawler accesses your pages with products, it doesn't find images, it finds their names only. That is why it is important to have image names being keyword-populated, but not just product23.jpg. Our SEO Image module allows automatically renaming of all product image names and increasing keyword density on pages as a result.
So, if you have a product name like "Toshiba NB100", then after implementing our module all its images (small, medium and large) will get names like Toshiba_NB100.jpg, and that is a great solution for SEO.
Even more, it is possible to add some additional keywords to the left and right sides of the name in Admin part. For example, we can add "Cheap" to the left and "Laptop" to the right, and the product image name will look like "Cheap_Toshiba_NB100_Laptop.jpg".
