UK VAT 15% - osCommerce solutions

As UK basic VAT rate goes down to 15% (from current 17.5%) osCommerce store owners must have their VAT rate changed in the early hours of Monday the 1st of December.

There exist at least two solutions that our customers prefer most:

a) change VAT rate down to 15%, leaving net price intact, which effectively lowers down the price payable by consumers

b) change VAT rate down to 15%, change net price up to 1.175 / 1.15 (i.e. increase it approximately by 2.1739%), which effectively leaves the price payable by consumers intact
