De Wielershop.NL is a B2C bicycle parts supplier selling a wide range of cycling components all around Europe. Being part of Kuiper Trading as of 2008, De Wielershop.NL has come to Holbi back in April 2011 to order a website. The prototype design for the osCommerce webstore impressed the customer so much that we immediately started the project.
Design team of Holbi implemented a corporate version of multiple frontend TrueLoaded solution as the platform for the shop website, and a new individual design with a modern look and feel. A number of features has been developed and applied, among which were SSL certificate, SEO package, HTML e-mail services and Brand Manager. The system was integrated with Google Base online database; Product Finder, Filters and Product properties were added. Then, Inventory Management and Product Availability along with Product Bundles and Give Away products were built in as well as Easy Checkout, Product Images Lightbox and Recovery of abandoned Shopping Carts. Finally the Affiliate Programme Module was implemented in line with a set of additional options.
Overall the project took about 4 months and it was launched in September 2011. Successful results of the cooperation between De Wielershop.NL and Holbi showed as quickly as in one month by the tendency of turnover increase and growing conversion rate.
