Google published a presentation of the new service Google Now, which had been previously announced at Google I/O conference as part of the operating system Android 4.1.
Google Now is a personalised search engine that processes voice and text querries, giving out information considering current GPS coordinates of the user, their personal information from calendar, history of search requests, relocation history, visited pages history etc. Search widget is located on a start-up screen.
From the user’s point of view, the search results are shown as cards. There are 10 kinds developed so far, and there will be more in the future. The user can set up their cards as they like and delete the ones they don’t need.
